Goodbye 2015. We had some good times and some bad times. I'm not really wanting to go into too much detail about the low points of this year, but instead I kinda want to focus on the highlights. Over the course of last year, I:
- traveled across the UK with a student ambassador group and made some amazing memories there.
- broke off a friendship which was (and still is) hard, but at the same time I've made some new friends that have been amazing and super supportive.
- became more involved with my school's GSA and I got to march in my first Pride parade!
- only went to one convention this year which was Tokyo in Tulsa with my little sister (it was only for a day, though) and we cosplayed as Mei and Satsuki from My Neighbor Totoro. We had surprisingly a lot of people ask to take our pictures which was amazing!
As for art, I didn't really post much on here, but I have been drawing a lot. Now, granted, I only finished a small handful of drawing, but it's still amazing to see how my art has progressed in these past few years. I want to say that I'm going to post more often, but that being said I always say that and it usually doesn't happen, but we'll see! 2016 is a new year full of new possibilities. My mind is racing with different ideas and projects, but with school and personal stuff I'm not sure how much I'm going to get done. Again we'll see. And even though it's the third of January, I still want to wish everyone a happy new year! I give you all the best wishes for this upcoming year.
